Associated Engineering promotes VP of integrated water solutions

Associated Engineering has appointed Elia Edwards, P.Eng., vice-president (VP) of integrated water solutions.

Edwards earned his B.Eng. in civil and environmental engineering at Ryerson University—now Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU)—and his M.A.Sc. in civil engineering at the University of Waterloo. He has been with Associated for than 27 years, serving in roles from process engineer to corporate sponsor to, most recently, water division manager in the firm’s Toronto office.

Over that time, he has been involved with multidisciplinary water projects across Canada. His areas of expertise include master planning, feasibility studies, process analysis, optimization, regulatory review, sustainable design and implementation.

While taking on his new role and providing insights and technical guidance, Edwards will remain both a director on the firm’s group board and a strategic advisory services leader for the Ontario market.
