How to clean that complicated facade?

With an eye on the growing complexity of contemporary architecture, a group at the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) is developing the first technical guide on facade access and maintenance.

Facade maintenance is essential for modern buildings to keep their pristine looks, but success often depends on the ability of workers to have access to replace parts or clean the facades.

CTBUH’s Facade Access Working Group is asking professionals to help with their research for the new guide by submitting details of innovative strategies that they have found for overcoming access challenges, such as for high-rises with curvilinear facades, vegetated facades, or non-standard cladding.
