Hatch Mott MacDonald recently announced senior staff appointments across Canada. Adam Neale, P.Eng. has joined the Vancouver office as principal project manager. He has worked on large scale energy and infrastructure projects throughout the world, with his last 10 years in London, U.K.

Keith Adam, C.Eng. is the new principal project manager for rail systems at the Calgary office.  Michael MacDonald, P.Eng. has joined the Halifax office as a senior project manager, Bill MacMillan P.Eng. is now a senior project manager in Moncton, N.B.,  and Peter Macpherson, P.Eng. is a senior project manager with the Saint John, N.B. office.

AECOM’s president and chief executive officer John M. Dionisio has been appointed chairman of the company’s board of directors. He will succeed Richard G. Newman in the role, effective October 1. Dionisio will continue to serve as CEO.

Miranda Valinskas, P.Eng. has joined Stantec’s industrial buildings and facilities group as principal and sector leader for manufacturing and supply chain management. Ms. Valinskas will be overseeing the sector across Canada and the western U.S. She is based in Stantec’s Kitchener, Ontario office.

Forty volunteers from AECOM’s two Markham Ontario offices braved the cold spring weather to clean up part of the Rouge River Valley last week. They cleaned up trash in the valley along Apple Creek Boulevard between Rodick Road and Woodbine Avenue in Markham and filled approximately 75 bags of garbage and recyclable material, totalling close to half a tonne.
