Professional Engineers Ontario has announced with sadness the sudden passing of one of its recent past presidents.

Professional Engineers Ontario has announced with sadness the sudden passing of one of its recent past presidents.
Gordon M. Sterling, P.Eng. of Toronto died January 3, 2007. He volunteered with PEO for 25 years, including as president during 2000-2001. He was also president of the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers in 2003-2004, and he was a founding member of the Ontario Society of Professional Engineers.
Canadian Consulting Engineer had the pleasure of working with Mr. Sterling recently, when he served as a member of the jury for 2005 Canadian Consulting Engineering Awards.
Current PE President Patrick J. Quinn, P.Eng., said: “Gordon Sterling was a true gentleman, kind hearted, unselfish and a true professional engineer. His dedication and enthusiasm will be greatly missed.”
