Ingenium sells three Giffels units to IBI Group

The consulting units of Giffels have been sold to the IBI Group/IBI Income Trust of Toronto.

The consulting units of Giffels have been sold to the IBI Group/IBI Income Trust of Toronto.
The IBI Income Fund has purchased Giffels Associates Limited, Giffels Inc., Giffels of North Carolina and Giffels International. The exception is Giffels Design Build, which Ingenium is retaining.
IBI Group will retain the Giffels brand and the businesses it purchased will be known as Giffels Professional Engineers.
At the same time, the Ingenium group announced the purchase of Stonefield Development Consultants. Stonefield is a land use planning, project management and landscape architectural firm providing services to the residential and resort development industries. Stonefield has offices in Alberta, British Columbia and Colorado.
The Ingenium Group includes NORR, PMA and CION in Canada and has offices in several regions of the world.
The IBI Group, known for its urban planning expertise, has acquired several architectural, engineering and landscape companies recently, including Landplan Associates of Calgary, Robbie, Young + Wright Architects of Toronto and Doyle/Young + Wright Architects of Vancouver, Martin + Marcotte Architectes of Montreal, and Rhon Ernest-Jones civil consulting engineers of Florida.
