Cash prizes of 300, 500 and 1000 francs are being offered for high quality photographs that celebrate structural engineering. The prizes are in celebration of the 80th Anniversary of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE). Photographs of a structure or part of a structure can be submitted up to June 6.
After an international jury has pre-selected the best of the photos, the public will be able to vote online for the final ranking between June 24 and August 17.
The 10 best photographs will be displayed at the IABSE Symposium in Bangkok, September 2009, and will be published in Structural Engineering International.
