The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) has recently published a new guide for Building Information Modeling (BIM).

BIM technology enables designers to integrate a project’s schedule and cost data, with their analysis and design.

The book, Building Information Modeling: Applications and Practices, is an overview of advances in the technology. It has 13 chapters contributed by international researchers and practitioners.

Zweig Group’s 2015 Information Technology Survey contains the latest data on what architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms are spending on new IT systems, staff, etc.

The information is broken out by firm type, staff size, region of the firm’s headquarters, firm growth rate, and client base.

It also gives the “hard facts’ on the systems and platforms in which firms are investing.
