Autodesk has partnered with GeoConnections, a Canadian initiative led by Natural Resources Canada that is building the Canadian Geospatial Data Infrastructure. The company will develop Autodesk MapGuide to comply with Open GIS Web Map Service (WMS) specifications in Canada.

HP, AECworld NETworks and CyberCore Technologies are bundling their technology to create a construction automation solution. The system involves an on-site built-in wireless network in a construction trailer, and a digital camera which captures verbal notes to complement each photo. A communication server is used to prepare a multimedia status report of construction progress and to issue resolutions.
