In May, picturesque Hall’s Harbour on the Fundy shore in Nova Scotia officially opened its new breakwater and wharf. Two years ago the town’s 1904 timber wharf was destroyed by the fierce winter ice storms, which buffet this coastline and have recently damaged another harbour wall in nearby Digby. Michael Williams, P.Eng. of Vaughan Engineering in Halifax was the project manager for the Hall’s Harbour project.
