Robson Square Domes

A pair of elliptical domes strikes a dramatic pose for visitors to downtown Vancouver during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Located in the GE Plaza in Robson Square, the domes replaced circular ones and were designed by Read Jones Christoffersen and architects Hughes Condon Marler and Clive Grout. They won a 2009 award of excellence from the Canadian Institute of Steel Construction B.C. Chapter.
