The ACEC web site is now equipped with a word-based search engine that scans the area where membership information is located. Once the search is engaged, the results appear as a list of links to the pages where the word(s) are located. In the case of the ACEC web site, the company’s member number and name appear as a link, which helps to identify quickly those firms whose member profiles contain the information that the user seeks.
