ELECTRICAL
Generac has new and higher rated residential and commercial standby generators. The commercial models include liquid-cooled generators with outputs ranging from 20 to 150 kilowatts. All gensets have sound attenuated enclosures and the Quiet-Test feature. They are finished with Rhino-Coat, Generac’s textured paint finish with better bonding to seams and edges. www.generac.com
The S4K4U Uninterruptible Power System from Sola/Hevi-Duty consists of two 3 kVA, 120 V inverters. Its dual engineering allows flexible output voltages to meet a variety of loads without an additional transformer. www.solaheviduty.com
The new RFB2 Series floor box by Wiremold/Legrand is a two-compartment recessed floor box to provide power and communication services in open spaces. It can be installed on concrete or wood floors. www.wiremold.com
Schneider Electric’s Square D Integrated Power Center 2 is for locations with standardized layouts, such as big box stores, gas bars, etc. Where multiple panel boards, transformers and lighting contactors are located in close proximity, they can be stacked in a modular line-up to minimize floor and wall space. The distribution equipment and building controls are pre-wired to minimize installation time. www.schneider-electric.ca
