Halsall named one of Canada’s top 100 Employers

Halsall Associates, a Toronto firm of consulting engineers with 150 employees, has been named one of the country’s Top 100 employers by Maclean’s magazine.
This is the third year in a row that the company has made the list.
Halsall was recognized for a number of policies, including for encouraging new businesses and “intrapreneurs” among employees. It also has an employee on the Board of Directors specifically elected from the smaller shareholders group. It has several sports teams, a Toastmasters club and an active social committee that runs various charity events. It helps to clean up the local park every year. The company also held a drumming circle that was featured on a CBC Venture episode as an innovative team-building activity.
Besides its headquarters in Toronto, the company has four Ontario offices and one in Vancouver.
