Winning bid for Windsor Essex Parkway announced

The Ontario Ministry of Transportation has announced the winners of a contract to design, build, finance and maintain the Windsor Essex Parkway, which is a new 11-kilometre freeway to be built near the U.S. border.
The preferred bidder is the Windsor Essex Mobility Group, which includes Fluor Canada, ACS Infrastructure Canada, Acciona Concessions Canada, Dragados Canada and Acciona Infrastructure Canada. The cost of the project will be announced in 2011.
